GCSSD is currently gauging interest in offering a STEM 1: Foundations Class during the 2022-2023 school year.


Here is a course description:

STEM I: STEM1 is a hands on course for students interested in learning more
about careers in science, technology, engineering and mathematics. This course covers basic skills
required for STEM fields of study. Upon completion of this course, students are able to identify
and explain the steps in both the engineering design and the scientific inquiry processes.

We intend on this being a very hands-on project based course.
