Objective: Support club, district, state, and national communications. Provide outreach efforts with ideas, resources, and tools.

Your club’s communications efforts are the vehicle by which you achieve your public relations goals. Public Relations describes the interrelationships between GFWC Clubs, its members, the public, and other entities.

Our main goal in communications and public relations will be to get the word out to the public about who we are. We must publicize our clubs’ projects to let communities know we exist. We must stress the important things our clubs are a part of and the need that exists for our organization to make the community a better place to live. While recognition or a thank you is not something that clubwomen expect, we are looking for partners to help make our communities a better place. Without communication and public relations, how will the women in your community know that we exist?

There are several ways for your club members to receive news and get ideas for club activities.  Both GFWC and GFWC Georgia have publications available to read about club accomplishments.
