Lewis Arts Studio 4th-5th Grade               2023 Program Application
Arts for Learning's Lewis Arts Studio (LAS) Program is expanding to serve 4th and 5th grade students who are  interested in the visual arts. This studio program is designed to help students practice and celebrate creativity, learning, creative risk taking and art exploration.

The Lewis Arts Studio’s professional teaching artists will help participants to develop their visual arts techniques and increase their knowledge of the visual art elements. Participants will also benefit from enriching arts experiences such as guest artists, and fieldtrips.

The Lewis Arts Studio 4th and 5th grade program is year-round consisting of bi-monthly Saturday sessions throughout the school year and a two-week summer arts camp. Students may choose to remain in the program for more than one year.

School Year Bi-Monthly Saturday Sessions
Includes instruction in visual arts skills and techniques with a focus on creative learning, positive peer relations, self-direction and communication skills; students will participate in an informal student showcase at the end of the school year.

Summer 2-week arts camp
Continued instruction in visual arts skills and techniques, field trips to art galleries/collections or cultural destinations, guest artists, and a culminating student exhibition.
