Thank you for your interest in our Spring Spruce-Up project on Saturday, May 7!  Age-Friendly Houlton is excited to offer its first services to older residents of Houlton - helping hands with outdoor clean-up projects that get folks ready for summer, and we're glad you'll be a part of it all.  We mean it when we say we couldn't do it without you!

What you need to know:

We'll convene at 9a at a location to be determined.  Come a little early for coffee and doughnuts to fuel you up for the morning ahead.  The event will end at 1p (or earlier if your work is complete!), and we'll collect all waste from your work for disposal at that time.

We'll assign volunteers in small teams to go out into the community and support older folks who have requested a little extra help in getting their yards and other outdoor spaces in shape.  We'll provide trash bags and waste disposal; you should bring gloves, lawn tools (we'll give more guidance on this closer to May 7), and your energy and enthusiasm.
