BAKL 3rd Edition CPT - Entry Form

Submit a basic 35s YouTube or Instagram video URL with your entry. Include your cover image at the start of your video. https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1W05eTVK49PhI2ly3JWJ3rgb1XYq3hEat?usp=sharing

The first 18 riders to submit valid entries will be invited to participate.
The purpose of the entry video is to show that you have the skill necessary to compete.
If you submit the best entry video, but you submit it too late, you won't be invited to compete. So get your entries in as soon as the entry form is open.

Window period: 24 February to 10 March. Most suitable day during this window.
In Blouberg, Cape Town

Indemnity Waiver

For kitesurfing at the BAKL Cape Town competition, I hereby acknowledge and agree to the following:

I understand and acknowledge that kitesurfing in strong wind conditions have inherent dangers that no amount of care can totally eliminate.

I expressly and voluntarily assume all risk of personal injury or death sustained while participating at "Big Air Kite League“, whether or not caused by the negligence of the released parties.

I confirm that my insurance covers third party damage to people and property. I confirm that I am an open water swimmer and that I am not under influence of alcohol or drugs.

I am not pregnant or nursing.

I further represent that I am at least 18 years old and that I am in a good health condition and have no medical condition that may interfere with the practice of kitesurfing. If I am not 18, I will need to be accompanied by a legal guardian, who will sign this waiver on the day of the event, or I will not be allowed to participate.

I have no mental impairment that may affect my judgement of danger. I acknowledge that I have been given adequate opportunity to read and understand this document, that it was not presented to me at the last minute.
