Welcome to Modern Oratory. This club is to prepare for the UIL competition on April 5th & 6th. Students in oratory will need to choose from one of the competition topics, research that topic, write a speech examining both sides of the issue, and memorize and present the speech. Speeches should last between 3-6 minutes. If this sounds like the club for you, please fill out the form below. Our first afterschool practice will be Thursday, January 18th from 4:15- 5:00 pm in the library. We will have practices everything Thursday until 5 pm unless there is a notification from Mrs. Sowa-Li that practice is cancelled.
