The U.S. Department of State's Citizen Diplomacy Award is an initiative recognizing American citizens and organizations leading efforts to renew and strengthen U.S. relationships with the world.

Candidates will be specifically evaluated on their abilities in the following areas:
1. Advancing U.S. foreign policy objectives, including the promotion of exchanges and partnerships.
2. Generating impactful, long-term support for U.S. foreign policy objectives in the public affairs and public diplomacy domains.
3. Renewing and strengthening important international relationships while serving as frontline advocates for our values.
