Virtual Gatherings and Webinars Explained
In the months to come we will continue to offer 2 types virtual events.

Virtual Gatherings (~ 60 min.): Peer to peer sharing from multiple organizations' perspectives on a specific topic. During virtual gatherings organizations are encouraged to "take the mic" to share briefly on a specific topic. We started offering Virtual Gatherings as a response to the ever-changing programmatic challenges brought upon by COVID-19. See a list of past SGSO virtual gatherings at www.sgsonetwork.org/covid.

Webinars (~90 min.) : 1 to 3 presenters share their expertise on a more in-depth topic. Webinars are more of a training event and/or serve to provide participants with evidence based best practices through case studies. View past SGSO webinars at www.sgsonetwork.org/webinars

During both events we aim to have questions and answers and at times break out room discussions

For example: John, Pivoting from virtual to in person program delivery for Fall, Our 7 school gardens will be teaching science to groups of ten kids at a time as part of our district's partial school openings.
