2024 BRHBA Committees
One of the best ways to be involved in the Blue Ridge Home Builders Association is by volunteering on a committee.  Help us shape BRHBA's events and membership by serving on one or many of our committees.

Most committee meetings will be held virtually, but some may choose to meet in-person in 2024. Most committees meet monthly for about an hour.  

Please choose the committee(s) that interest you the most.  You will be added to the committee list and be notified of meeting times and dates.

Membership/Marketing Committee
Chair - Luke Roark, Commonwealth Contractors

Coordinates marketing, members services, recruiting and retention.  The Membership Committee plans to meet IN PERSON.

We will meet monthly on the 4th Tuesday of the month at the BRHBA Office, unless otherwise specified.  Email reminders will be sent a week ahead of our meetings.

Work Force Development Committee
Chair - Eric Robertson, Smith & Robertson

Together with local community colleges and high schools, the Work Force Development committee is committed to bringing public awareness to the skilled labor crisis affecting the home building industry.  The WFD Committee will begin meeting virtually with the option to switch to in-person meetings later in the year. We will finalize the meeting schedule in the new year and will do our best to meet monthly.  Email reminders will be sent a week ahead of our meetings.

Parade of Homes Committee
Chair - Kate Colvin, Craig Builders

Plans and executes the annual Parade of Homes.  Meets approximately twice a month beginning with an initial meeting in February, and then regularly for three months prior to the October event. Meeting dates subject to change, but email reminders will be sent.

Golf Tournament Committee

Plans and executes the bi-annual Golf Tournament.  Meets approximately twice a month in the spring leading up to the spring outing, and twice a month in the fall leading up to the fall outing.

Builder Bash Committee

Plans our annual Builder Bash Event. The Builder Bash Committee will meet virtually starting in May.  We will finalize the meeting schedule in the new year and will do our best to meet monthly leading up to the event on September 20. Email reminders will be sent a week ahead of our meetings.

Cornhole & Member Picnic Committee
Chair - Julia Roberts, Fulton Home Mortgage

Plans our annual Cornhole & Member Picnic Event. The Cornhole Committee will meet virtually starting in March.  We will finalize the meeting schedule in the new year and will do our best to meet monthly leading up to the event on June 21. Email reminders will be sent a week ahead of our meetings.
