Artistic Escapades
For Middle and High School students
Wednesdays 3:30-4:30pm

We begin each project with a discussion of the techniques and themes of artwork and artists drawn from across time and cultures. We create projects inspired by the themes, techniques, medium, or another aspect of the artwork. We also learn to identify and apply the Elements and Principles of Design in our artwork. 

Over the course of the year we will expand our skills with a range of 2D and 3D art media including drawing, painting, printing, and clay. In order to dive deeper,  we will work on projects over several weeks. 

  • Winter Session: January 10-March 6, (NO Class January 17), $160 
  • Spring Session: March 20 - May 8, $160  

Minimum class size of 2, Maximum class size of 8

All classes will be held in my teaching studio (which spills onto the driveway on warm days) in Bloomington, Indiana following reasonable health safety protocols which will be adjusted as needed. Sink with soap provided for frequent hand washing.
