SMS Speech-Language Teletherapy Survey
Under the direction of Dr. Christine Brennan at the University of Colorado Boulder, Smith-Magenis Syndrome (SMS) Speech-Language Communication Development Study (Smith-Magenis SLC Study) aims to collect information from parents, caregivers, or family members of children or adults with SMS to get a better understanding about how teletherapy sessions for speech-language compares to in-person therapy sessions. Your anonymous responses will be compiled and analyzed and will be shared with the SMS community as well as with those in the fields of education and speech-language pathology.

Eligibility: We invite you to take part in a research study because (1) you have a child, care for a child, or have a family member with a medical diagnosis of SMS (Smith-Magenis Syndrome) (note - the individual with SMS can be any age, he/she/they do not need to currently be a child) and (2) this child has participated in teletherapy.

Directions for this survey: Please read the consent information before doing the survey. Once you consent, you may respond to the following questions about the speech and language development of your child or family member with SMS. You may skip any question you do not feel comfortable answering or do not know.
This survey has 14 questions and should take about 5-10 minutes to complete.
