The San Diego County Engineering Council (SDCEC) is accepting proposals for On-Demand Speaker Videos to be featured during the month of February as part of the 2023 San Diego Engineers Week Festival. We are seeking video presentations from local San Diego engineers, entrepreneurs, educators and students to engage the festival’s audience in discussions of current trends in engineering. (Local STEM book authors are also invited to submit their published titles using this form).

Speakers are invited to use this form to submit a title and abstract for a proposed video presentation addressing one of these themes: (1) Technical Innovation, (2) Professional Development, (3) Inclusion, or (4) Education. The target audience is existing and aspiring engineers (high school, college, professionals).

Please note, these presentations are not paid. The Engineers Week Festival is the premier event of the San Diego County Engineering Council (SDCEC). Its purpose is to inspire more students to pursue careers in engineering and to build stronger connections between engineering societies and education institutions in the San Diego area.
