Four sessions: Nov 13, 16, 18 and 20 (Sat-Tues-Thurs-Sat), 8:30-10:00am PDT online
Join us in exploring the Buddha’s teachings on speech: what kinds of speech are harmful and to be avoided, what kinds of speech are beneficial and to be cultivated, how might one speak or listen, and how do we apply these teachings to our modern-day communication modalities? In addition to engaging both better known and lesser known teachings on speech, we will engage in direct practice with this profound aspect of human relationship and community. The class will include dharmettes, guided meditations, Q&A, and small-group discussion.
