The MSA is excited to kick off the fourth year of the mentor/mentee program!  This year,  our objective revolves around acclimating  and empowering underclassmen/new students on campus and online, as well as strengthening inter-class (and generational) relationships within the Muslim community. We recognize that this year the mentor ship program will be an extremely useful tool for incoming students who will be remote in finding a community, thus we plan on creating an inclusive environment built around building relationships and providing resources. We will be building family units based on pairings of mentor and mentees in order to build strong support systems that will help us stay grounded to our faith and create life-time bonds and experiences. Families will consist of multiple mentor/mentee pairs, thus you will have your own individual mentor/mentee and then be placed in a group inshAllah.

Mentors and mentees will cover three areas together:
1. Relationship-building
2. Career and academic skills (resume workshops/schedule planning/tips and tricks for your major)
3. Heartwork—grounding each other in faith throughout the semester
