By joining Bodhi Meditation Energy Hiking Group, I acknowledge that I will be participating in outdoor/indoor activities organized by the volunteers of Bodhi Meditation.

The waiver of liability is an agreement that attendance at these events is strictly voluntary and of my own choice. I agree to legally waive, release, and discharge any claims for damages of personal injury, or property which I may have, or which may accrue to me as a result of participation in any activity associated with the Bodhi Meditation’s Energy Hiking Group.  

This release is intended to discharge, in advance, the governing board (individually, or as a group) and/or individual group members from any and all liability arising out of, or connected in any way with, my participation in Bodhi Meditation’s Energy Hiking Group. Even though those liabilities may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the part of the entities named above. It is understood that activities associated with this group, such as hiking, may involve an element of risk and danger of accidents, and knowing those risks, I assume those risks. It is further agreed that this waiver, release, and assumptions of risks is to be on my heirs and assigns. I agree to indemnify and hold the above persons or entities harmless from any loss, liability, damage, cost, or expense which may occur as result of my death, or injury, or property damage that I may sustain while participating in any/all Bodhi Meditation’s energy hiking group activities.

I acknowledge that, due to the highly contagious nature of COVID 19, there is a risk of exposure to COVID-19 from being in a public area and attending a group Event where other people are present. I understand and fully assume all risks associated with my attendance at the Event. If I am attending Bodhi Meditation’s Energy Hiking Event, I attest that:
• I am not experiencing any symptom of illness such as cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fever, chills, repeated shaking with chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat, or new loss of taste or smell. I will not attend the Event if I experience these symptoms prior to the Event.
• I do not believe I have been exposed to someone with a suspected and/or confirmed case of COVID-19.
• I have not been diagnosed with COVID-19 and not yet cleared as non-contagious by state or local public health authorities.
• I will wear a mask or other face covering while for any indoor event, regardless of my vaccination status, unless actively eating or drinking.

This Agreement is intended to be as broad and inclusive as is permitted by law. If any provision or any part of any provision of this Agreement is held to be invalid or legally unenforceable for any reason, the remainder of this Agreement shall not be affected thereby and shall remain valid and fully enforceable.

By joining I freely and voluntarily assume all risks of such Injuries and Damages.

Please also be noted members might be taking photos at our event and sharing them at Facebook Energy hiking group. If you don’t wish to be included, please inform the photographer.
