✨Join the Youth Action Network Steering Committee!✨ 

United Way’s Santa Cruz County Youth Action Network (YAN) is a countywide collaborative of youth and adults working together to promote youth well-being by connecting young people to resources and opportunities to create positive community change and elevating youth voices in decision-making. 

Benefits:

YAN Youth Steering Committee Members have the opportunity to

• Increase youth voice and youth leadership in decision making

• Connect with other youth, partner organizations, and local decision-makers

• Develop leadership skills 

• Earn stipends and/or community service hours 

Commitments: 

• One school year (September 2023-June 2024) 

• Attend meetings twice a month on Wednesdays 4–5 pm 

• Attend quarterly team retreats and occasional capacity-building workshops

• Promote events and opportunities

*YAN Steering Committee will be compensated for their time through stipends and/or community service hours
