Aurora Academy is a school of choice. When parents and children choose to join this learning community, they also accept a set of agreements, policies and procedures which they agree to follow and support. Please read and sign on the bottom.

I have received and read the Parent/Student Handbook.

I Understand my child needs to be in the school building by 7:50am.

I understand that after 3:40pm my child will be taken to after-school care at a fee.

I have discussed the discipline plan and classroom rules with my child and will support the enforcement of these guidelines

I will send my child to school each day in approved uniform items and understand that dress code violations will result in disciplinary action.

As part of the dress code policy, my child's hair must be trimmed, combed and not cut in an outlandish/trendy style, such as: Mohawks, half-shaved heads, or shaved in designs. Hair must be a natural color: brown, blonde, black or auburn. Hair dye such as; red, blue, green etc. will result in disciplinary action. Hair accessories including beading, extensions, clips, bows, and headbands must match school uniform colors. Please read the handbook for more details.

Belts must be worn each day, except in kindergarten

No "skinny pants" are allowed. We define this by pants being tight on calves and ankle. Approved uniform pants are loose around the calf and ankle.

I will provide updated contract, health, and emergency information to the office, as needed.

I/We agree to fulfill my/our 20/40 required volunteer hours required by Aurora Academy and outlined in the Parent/Student Handbook.

I/We agree, understand that it is my/our responsibility to complete half of my/our required volunteer hours by January 15th, 2022 to receive sibling priority for the 2022-23 school year.

I will remain calm, polite, and respectful during interactions with school employees regardless of the issue, concern, or conflict.
