As a faculty member who hosts an undergraduate research fellow you will:

* have a research project that you are already working on- overwhelmingly we want students to be receiving real experiences with the research that is being done in the college. Students are expected to work 8-10 hours a week.

* Provide guidance and mentoring for each student. They will have various levels of skills and knowledge and some may need more instruction than others. Faculty may assign task supervision to PhD students, but are expected to meet with the undergraduates regularly, as this fellowship is seen as a mentoring opportunity for students.

* Ensure and assist with the Research Symposium poster session completion.

* Have an excellent time engaging with the best and brightest undergraduate students, and make a HUGE difference in their lives.
