Call for Peer Mentors (PhD students) for CEGA Visiting Fellows
Under CEGA's Visiting Fellowship program visiting fellows are paired with a CEGA Affiliate as a faculty mentor and a UC Berkeley based peer mentor. CEGA is seeking UC Berkeley PhD students in Economics, ARE, or quantitative discipline (2nd year or later) to apply to be a peer mentor for Fall 2022 fellows James Mukoki and Abiola Oyebanjo.

Peer mentors provide professional support to fellows through weekly 1-hour meetings and email communication in between meetings. Note that being a peer mentor does not necessarily entail that you and the CEGA fellow will be co-authors, just that you will meet, discuss the fellows research proposal, etc. We will provide more guidelines on the specific role we expect the mentor to take. As a result of this partnership, a $2800 stipend will be given to graduate student partners.

Please fill out the following form by August 25, 2022 EOD if you are interested in being a peer mentor for one of the fellows.
