Welcome to the 2021 Theater Director and Educator Conference, presented by Hennepin Theatre Trust and Perpich Center for Arts Education. The conference is planned for July 28-29, 2021, and the modality (in-person, hybrid, or virtual) is still TBD, based upon ever changing MDH recommendations. For this year’s conference, we are opening up the planning to you!

The theme this year is “Making Space for Joy”, and we are focusing on a few key ideas under that broad umbrella: ideas that energize and inspire your teaching/artistry, anti-racist practices that build communities of belonging, and strategies for taking care of ourselves and our students.

Please complete this form to submit a conference session proposal, indicating which date you are available to present/convene, and noting whether you wish to present virtually, in-person, or hybrid, depending on the final decision of the conference planning team.

Please submit a separate form for each session you are proposing, and include all presenters (if known). All sessions will be 60 minutes in length. If you feel your session requires two 60-minute blocks, please indicate that in your form. Presenters for the sessions that are chosen will receive a stipend.
