Dear Parent/Caregiver

If you have chosen to isolate your child from school for more than 5 days, please complete this online form.

Please email jeffj@sherwoodprimary.school.nz if your child is isolating because they have tested positive to Covid or if they are isolating as a household contact.

All Year 0-5 students can immediately access their Year Group slideshow activities on the Distance Learning section of our school website. However, please allow up to 24 hours for us to provide your child with access to all the Seesaw activities.

All Year 6 students already have access to their Home Learning Google Classroom (instead of having slideshow activities).

Just so you are aware, all students learning from home will be added to a special year group Isolation Class on Seesaw e.g. Year 2 Isolation. This will appear as a second class on their Seesaw account. This is where they will share their home learning and complete Seesaw activities.  Please note that staff other than your child's teacher may respond to your child via seesaw.

Hard copy home learning packs are available from the hall foyer. If you are isolating at home, we suggest you ask a support person or parent you know at school to pick these up for you.

Also available to you are the online learning programmes that your child already uses at school as well as the Sherwood Storytime videos available on the distance learning section of the school website.

No zoom meetings will be provided as classroom teachers will be unavailable as they will be teaching their on-site students at school.

You should have already had notification regarding school devices, if required.
