2023 Badge Summit @ CU Boulder: Five Minute Proposal Form

Thank you for your interest in sharing at our annual Badge Summit at CU Boulder! In order to streamline the proposal process, this form is brief and all accepted sessions will have later opportunities to edit the descriptions that appear in the conference program.

Deadline to propose is EXTENDED TO March 17, 2023.

The 2023 Badge Summit will take place July 24-26, 2023 in Boulder, CO, with an online only virtual summit to follow on August 14, 2023. Because we value your willingness to share your genius, one presenter for each accepted session will receive discounted registration.

Badgesplaining -- (5-8 minutes) TED Talk-inspired format, Badge Summit style. Presented on the main stage.

Table Talk -- Our take on poster sessions. Round-table discussion groups led by individual experts in their field

Rapid Fire Session -- (30 minutes) Lecture-based driven by an Essential Question and engaging the audience with opportunities to share with and question the presenter

Dream Makers’ Lounge Design Challenge -- (45 minutes) Presenters propose a "How might we?" question around which attendees engage in a facilitated rapid design consultancy with the presenters

Long Panel -- (45 minutes) 2-5 people + moderator discussing a topic and engaging the audience with Q&A

Deep-Dive Interactive Session -- (45 minutes) Lecture or activity-based driven by an Essential Question and engaging the audience with opportunities to share, question, and work with other attendees

Badge Tank -- Table Talks meet Shark Tank! Share your elevator pitch or problem of practice and get realtime feedback from other practitioners

The intimacy of conversation-driven Table Talk conversations have driven some of the most impactful learning and connecting at Badge Summit and these sessions will be prioritized.
