On October 9, 2013 a group of 15 people gathered and voted on the formation of the club we've all grown to love, Downriver West Kiwanis.  That group of charter members agreed on two big purposes of this club: 
  1. Hands on Service is top priority
  2. Focus on Service Leadership Programs
Throughout the past 10 years, Downriver West Kiwanis has served thousands of hours bettering the lives of children downriver. As we celebrate our 10 year anniversary, we humbly ask for the community to support us and cheer on the accomplishments we've had.  As we push forward we are looking to grow our organization  and for more community partners to better and more thoroughly serve our community.
