Continuing Education Micro Grant

Funding in-person educational workshops, conferences, and training for beginner farmers. Awards are available to people ages 12 and up who reside in the Southeast U.S. We will consider requests for funding up to $250 for most educational opportunities. Funding decisions are made within two weeks of receiving your application.

Micro grants are designed for people who are at the beginning stages of exploring a career in agriculture, and/or developing skills to produce food and sharing those skills with their community. Our goal is to help participants gain a connection to agriculture, production experience and also to qualify for USDA Beginning Farmer & Rancher Development Programs in the future.

Funding is for in-person educational opportunities, the workshops, conferences and training may be located anywhere.

Suggested contributions of $5-$20 go towards future applicant funding; please consider donating @ Home (freemulch.org)
