Thank you for your interest in the Forney Color Guard!

The Color Guard provides energy and life to the marching band show in the fall, where we perform at all football games and competitions. In the winter and spring we continue performing at local and national events.

The Forney Color Guard is having tryouts April 18th and April 22nd at FHS from 5pm-7pm. Look for flags outside the west entrance where veteran members will meet and guide you! You must dress out in athletic clothing comfortable to dance in as well as wear tennis shoes. Upon making the team, there is a mandatory parent meeting April 23rd that begins at 5:30pm in the FHS Band Hall.

Once you make the team and are at FHS you are enrolled in our 1st period class where you get PE/Fine Art credit and get to practice each day for your performance that week. If you will be a Warren student the coming year you will not need to enroll in a class, instead there will be performance and competition opportunities through the school year that you will be a part of.

No prior experience is necessary to attend tryouts, we will teach you everything you need to know to be on our team!
