The 2024 Design Futures Student Leadership Forum is an interdisciplinary leadership development convening
that centers principles of racial justice and social equity. Design Futures fosters capacity-building for
future leaders to think critically about power, privilege, and positionality in the practice of
community-engaged design and to rethink and elevate the role of the designer to address and dismantle
systemic oppression in the built environment. More about the annual forum here:
www.designfuturesforum.orgThis year's in-person convening will be held at the

Interested CDES major/minor students are asked to apply by Saturday, April 15th. Applications will be reviewed and applicants will be notified of acceptance by April 23rd.
