Hi all,

We are asking students to rank their top 7 subjects out of the 19 optional subjects offered in the school in order of preference for the Leaving Certificate. All the information about the 19 optional subjects is available in the new Senior Cycle Booklet posted on 22nd January 2021.

Please rank your first 1-4 options carefully in order of the subjects you would like to study.
Please rank your next  5-7 as the options you most want in case it is not possible to offer you your first 4 options.

We strive to offer students their top 4 subjects but in a small number of cases it may be necessary to offer students their 5th, 6th or 7th choice. It is imperative therefore that students have an interest in, and aptitude for, all 7 of the subjects they select.

We are also asking students to indicate whether they would like to apply for LCVP (Leaving Cert Vocational Programme), LCA (Leaving Cert Applied) or TY (Transition Year). Admission into Transition Year and Leaving Certificate Applied programmes will, in accordance with school policy, require an interview and will take into account students’  behavioural records and other factors.
