Career Explorers is a free 2 day career exploration camp for students who are entering grades 6, 7 or 8 in the fall. Camps will be offered in Advanced Welding, Advertising Design, Automotive, Crime Scene Investigation, Cosmetology, Coding & Game Design, Engineering, Entrepreneurship, and Navy JROTC. Acceptance will be based on those first to submit a completed application and space availability. In order to give more students access to attend camp, you may not attend more than two camps unless space is available.
Students from any school district are welcome to attend.
While our career explorers are immersed in hands on learning about concepts and skills in a given career field, they must be able to practice safe behavior, listen to and follow teacher instructions and work in small groups and/or independently. Students who are unable to do so may be removed from camp.
Registration opens May 1, 2023 and closes May 30, 2022. Students will be notified of acceptance by email by June 15th. Information about dress code, drop off and pick up, and other camp details will be included with the acceptance notification.
