and prepare to make your experience great. 😎
The Movement has a diverse form of organised groups of different sizes and capacities. In many regions there are small user groups (recognised or not recognised) that are seeking to gain skills and experience to run their group efficiently. Often in the Movement larger, longer-term affiliates are used as organisational references. But often learning from peers that are of a similar size and face common challenges can be very useful. In this Learning Clinic Wikimedia Ireland, Wikimedia Malta and Wikimedians of Romania and Moldova, will be sharing some of the key lessons learned from their experience managing a small affiliate and some of the skills and principles that are important. We will be looking at things like moving from being volunteer managed to having 1 or 2 members, how to scope programmatic work, how to think about future growth (or not!), amongst several other topics.
