Welcome to WAVE Volleyball of Manatee and Sarasota. Please carefully fill out the form and information below.  We will be using this to generate contact lists for the season once tryouts are over.  Please verify your email and cell phone numbers are correct as well as your date of birth and the player's age. We use this to help sort players into their age groups prior to tryouts.

What to have to Tryouts:
 - AAU Membership Card (2021-2022 AAU Membership is good until August 31st)
 - $40 Tryout Fee (Not refundable)
      -EXACT Cash in an envelope with player's name on it.
      -Check made out to WAVE with player's name in memo.
  - Shirt or Jersey with a number on it if possible

We do our best to pick teams by the end of tryouts.  We like to have 10-11 athletes on a travel team, but sometimes will make the exception for 12.  We look to put the strongest teams together in each age group.  Once all the top rated players on a team have accepted a position we will solidify the team in the below areas.  If a player opts not accept a position we will look to move the next rated player up in that age group and will do so until the team is finalized.  

Sometimes we will have more than one team in an age group.  We will do our best to find a position for all players, but every year we have to make cuts.  With those cuts it does not mean we do not want you to be apart of our program.  We want all players to be able to learn the game and grow.  Please stay patient as we work through the selection process.

What to have to accept a position after tryouts are decided
  -$500 Deposit Check (Player's name in memo)
  Completed Paperwork Packet (We will provide at tryouts)
