SFS 2024 Application Request
Congratulations on your interest in applying for Senior Field Studies 2024! Before you become too involved in the application process, you will need to decide if you are able to give this program the time it demands. We will be out of town for 13 days on the desert expedition, 8 days on the farm family live-in, and 9 days on a white water rafting expedition. The course is physically, emotionally, and intellectually demanding. Classroom days run from period 1 through 5 and you should expect to stay until noon. The course costs $1,400 for the semester, and students are expected to participate in fundraising activities.

Eligibility for enrollment is based on the following:
  1. Enrollment as an 12th grader in a Jefferson County high school.
  2. No current and/or chronic discipline problems.
  3. Completion of all required courses for graduation by the beginning of the spring semester 2024, except for those SFS will satisfy.
  4. Parent permission.
