Salvage Culture is a project of Mullum Cares Incorporated.  Our purpose is to increase conscious consumption in the Northern Rivers by supporting and promoting local upcyclers and repairers resulting in increased income for locals and less waste to landfill.  It's time for a local Circular Economy Revolution!

We are having our first Salvage Culture market stall on Feb 27th at the monthly Tyalgum Community Market and dream of having a permanent home where our makers and repairers will have an affordable space to work with the added benefit of having a Reverse Garbage operation sourcing materials for them to use (as well as for you to shop in!) PLUS a shop where their products can be sold. What an amazing before and after contrast we can create!  Imagine the upcyclers and repairers working together to combine their collective skills to make amazing creations!

You might be keen to learn repairing or upcycling skills yourself!  Whether it just be to increase your self sufficiency or to see if you have what it takes to become an upcycler who can generate an income from your craft!

A Salvage Culture Precinct will be a Circular Economy Incubator and Activator Place!
