"Fandom Voices" is a project that is part of the Silmarillion Writers' Guild newsletter column "Cultus Dispatches," which offers perspectives on Tolkien fandom history and culture (https://www.silmarillionwritersguild.org/cultus-dispatches). As part of this project, we will ask fans to share their experiences of a particular aspect of the Tolkien fandom or its history.

For this specific column, we are looking for Tolkien fans who read, view, and create fanworks. We are interested in how different fans regard "fanon" or fan-generated theories in the fanworks they create, read, and view. Your responses may be as brief or as detailed as you would like.
