Clovis Invitational Interest Form

We will have an optional travel meet to Clovis, California 10/7-10/8. We are planning to travel as a team to Clovis by Charter bus.

In order to travel, kids will need to be tested beforehand. If the athletes are going up with the team, they will be checked out of school at the start of their first class on Friday, and they will travel by charter bus with their teammates to Clovis and return on Saturday, 10/8 after the end of the meet. If parents would like to take their child, please contact the Athletic Department for this type of clearance.

Athletes will be traveling to Clovis on 10/7 and spending the day preparing for their race. The next day is race day! Athletes will be racing with some of the state’s best teams, and then they will be heading home the same day.

The cost of the trip is still being estimated, so information regarding that will be out as soon as possible. Also, if parents have questions about taking their own child up, please reach out to the coaching staff.

If you are parent and are interested in staying with the team, we have arranged a block of rooms for the weekend of October 7th-8th. We are staying at the Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Fresno South. We have a block of rooms reserved. If you are interested in attending you can use the name “Glendora Cross Country” to reserve a room. $189 King/$199 Queen. You must call the front desk at the number below to get this rate.
