Below are brief descriptions of our volunteer teams that serve each week at 4:12. Please select the date and team you prefer to serve on below.
Set-Up Team (2:30-3:30)
Unlock Fellowship Hall
Set up Fellowship Hall for 4:12 Worship
- Set up chairs
- Set up tables for bookbags and attach grade signs to tables
- Set up snack table with snacks and waters
- Turn on sound system and music
- Move portable speaker outside & turn on for student arrival
- Welcome Middle Schoolers; oversee & assign duties to Middle Schoolers
Arrival/Greeting/Snack/Recreation Team (3:00-4:15)
Greet students at the door as they arrive
Obtain headcount as students arrive
Monitor snack distribution and encourage bathroom break prior to recreation
Monitor the restrooms
- Prevent overcrowding or misuse of the restroom
- Ensure proper function and general cleanliness of the restroom
Assist with oversight of recreation time
- Escort & monitor Kinder-2nd graders on the playground
- Escort & monitor 3rd-8th graders in the field
- Ensure huddles of students are participating in activities and conversations that glorify the Lord
Worship Team (4:00-5:30)
Monitor the entry doors to limit distractions
Assist students in finding scripture references
Sit amongst students to assist with keeping noise to a minimum and students attentive during worship/bible study
Monitor the bathrooms
- Prevent overcrowding or misuse of the restroom
- Ensure proper function and general cleanliness of the restroom
Run the sounds/slides
Dismissal Team (4:45-6:00)
Set up cones for parking lanes
Set up speaker and play music for dismissal jam session
Text names/pickup order (by parking lane) to designated individual upon parent arrival
During dismissal, call student names using microphone
Direct vehicles into parking lanes in the pickup area
Walk students to their vehicles for early dismissal
Stack cones and return to Fellowship Hall following dismissal
Turn off lights and sound system; Return AC/Heat to proper temperature
Lock all doors
