This form is for NON-emergency absences to BVN Band Summer Conditioning Rehearsals and Summer Camps. Please submit your absences as soon as you know about them.
For emergency absences (illness or family emergency), do not use this form. Please email Mr. Freeman or Mr. McCarty at your earliest convenience for emergency absences.

The Summer Conditioning sessions carry the rule: “If you’re in town, you come to rehearsal!”
If you are out on a family vacation, summer camp, etc - no problem - a form will be provided to communicate these conflicts. If you are in town, then attendance is expected: please avoid work, appointments, and other similar conflicts. Please DO report absences from conditioning rehearsals on this form, so we know about them. Thank you!
Band Camps (mini-camps, percussion camp, guard camp, full band camp, etc) - are Mandatory and should be prioritized as much as possible. We do realize that some conflicts will still exist as we are in the summer months. Please use this form to communicate camp absences, so we can work out a catch-up plan for the students who miss camp time.
You will find that band camps and summer rehearsals are a TON of FUN, giving students a chance to work and grow together - forming lifelong friendships. We'll also accomplish a LOT! During Full Band Camp, we’ll cover as much material as OVER SEVEN weeks of during-the-school-year rehearsals.
