Apply to Partner with Road Guru
Over the next few months Road Guru will be working with a number of New Zealand tour guides to grow their businesses using our game-changing travel platform. The following application form is for trailblazing guides who want to be a part of our product launch. The answers you provide us will help with our selection process.

This form takes approximately 20 minutes to complete.

What are we looking for?

• Guides that love sustainable tourism
• can deliver authentic experiences
• are experts in a particular field (food, wine, photography etc.)                                          
• have exemplary people skills
• are prepared to invest in obtaining the correct licenses and concessions

Our ideal candidates will:

• Have a positive impact on their local environment
• use storytelling to inform others about local culture
• love learning and exploring their own backyard
• embrace technology that makes life easier

What will Road Guru do for you?

• Promote your tour service to national and international audiences
• develop technology to meet your personal businesses requirements
• assist with all aspects of your tour business administration
• give you and your business access to our travel marketplace

It must a have a COF and Loading Certificate.
Do you have a full license and P endorsement? *
This means you can drive passengers around that are paying you. You do not need this if you are thinking of doing walking tours.
Do you have a DOC concession? If so, what are the conditions?
It is okay if you do not, if you need one for your tour, we will help you navigate the process and apply in the most cost effective way. If you don't know then that's fine also.
Are you well connected in your local community? *
For example, do you know the local café owners, farmers, gallery owners or any other contacts that are specific to your area of expertise.
Do you have an idea for a tour? Please give us a brief overview below. (please read our criteria in the description) *
It could be 1 hour, 1 day or 1 week. Please focus on what is authentic about the tour. Our criteria is simple, the tour must benefit the land, the community or your countries culture. On top of that, we are not looking for something that has to run 365 days of the year, it could be based on an event that only happens once.
