Indigenous Women's Circle of Empowerment
Welcome to our circle. Our circle is based on sharing stories and women's teachings that foster growth and empowerment. It is a very small group where the same women attend each week. We meet every Thursdays from 10:00am-12:00 pm located at #104 17510-102ave. It allows a safe space to share our story and learn about healthy kinship. The power of our circle heals as we learn that our stories are very similar and we are not alone. Topics we discuss: cultural identity, roles of being a mother, partner, daughter, connection to culture,  knowledge of teachings that can apply to our lives. Most of all, sharing stories of hope and support.

To honour the power of our circle our stories are sacred and need to be treated as such. As we share our stories we ask that the stories stay with our Ancestors and not leave our sacred space. You have the right to confidentiality and privacy towards your healing journey.  *
CAP requires group therapy to honour high standards of practice especially when it comes to healing.  Our practice has to follow these guidelines and application to your process. If you feel this is compromised you have the right to voice your concerns to the regulatory body.  *
Facilitators that follow regulatory body have to honour group member's confidentiality. If Group member is at risk or shares another person may be at risk, facilitators have an oath to break confidentiality.  Your circle of care will be notified.
