For the second year, the Leadership Programme in Circular Economy will unite young people across the region to learn together about circular economy and how to make it a reality.
The circular economy is a model of production and consumption, which aims to extend the life cycle of products and reduce waste to a minimum by sharing, leasing, reusing, repairing, refurbishing and recycling existing materials. You don't need any prior knowledge to take this course. For a full course description, head to
regeneration2030.org/circulentsAnyone resident age 16-30 in the Nordic and Baltic Sea Region interested in learning more about circular economy may apply. That means; Denmark, Estonia, the Faroe Islands, Finland (incl. Åland), Germany, Greenland, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Poland, and Sweden. We also welcome youth from Czech Republic, Slovak Republic and Ukraine, as the drainage basin of the Baltic Sea includes these countries. We have currently paused recruitment from Russia and Belarus due to the developing geopolitical situation in our region.
In order to complete the course, you will need:
- Availability during the course dates (15/5, 29/5, 12/6, 14/8)
- 2-4 hours for study in your own time between sessions
- Access to a computer and internet connection during courses and for self-study
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English
