Personal Information taken by Dee River Kayaking Ltd must be held and kept by us as a condition of booking until your activity with us has concluded. After the conclusion of a client's relationship with Dee River Kayaking Ltd, they may request for their information to be deleted.

Dee River Kayaking must take the following details of participants: Contact details, next of kin details and medical information. This is stored on a secure database on our computer system, which will also be accessible to a client's instructor via a cloud based system.

Contact details: These will be taken and used to lease with the client in matters relating to their trip. We may also use the client's given email address to contact them with special offers. A communication from which they can opt out at any time.

Medical information and Next of Kin Details: This information will be held by Dee River Kayaking Staff and the leading instructor on any course or session must have access to this information. Outside of this, medical information will be kept strictly confidential and every effort will be made to consult with the participant beforehand should any disclosure be deemed necessary for the safe carrying out of our obligations with the client. Participants should understand that should they become incapable of giving consent for disclosure of essential medical information in the event of an emergency, information may be imparted at the discretion of the medical team acting in the participant's best interests.
