Hey everyone!
We, at Other Collective, are so excited to be launching our Fall 2021 print issue titled, "Censorship." We are a student-run media platform dismantling (post)(neo)colonial perspectives in Southwest Asian, North African, and South Asian (SWANASA) communities.
Our writers, photographers, and illustrators have been working tirelessly for the past few months to produce this our print issue this Fall. Here, we share carefully crafted stories about Afghan resilience, academic censorship on Palestinian liberation, the Kisaan-Mazdoor (farmer-laborer) Morcha in India, censorship in the context of intersecting Egyptian identities, India’s settler-colonial project in Kashmir, as well as linguicide from Kurdistan to Turtle Island.
We will also be hosting a virtual release party to celebrate this magazine release, on Saturday, February 19, at 9 AM Pacific Time.
