For the sake of clarity, Pre-Conference classes refer to the classes that will be held on Monday and Tuesday, and are classes that include hands on training with the technology being presented.  Typically these classes last half day, full day, or two days. What makes these classes unique to HSTI is that, at the end of the class, the participants are given the opportunity to take that technology or equipment back to their learning communities so that they can immediately and continuously work with the equipment with which they were trained.  These classes have limited class sizes, and are only available to those that specifically register to attend that class.

Conference sessions refer to the the breakout sessions that will be held on Wednesday and Thursday of the main conference.  These sessions cover a wide variety of topics and last approximately one hour.  Each conference registrant has access to all of these sessions, and that registrant may attend as many or as few as that registrant wishes.

Of course you can still sign up to present for both the Pre-Conference and the Conference, but this form should make it far more clear what you intend to do, as well as serve to better help us accommodate your needs.
