NUYCO & NUYWE Tour Interest Form
READ THE FOLLOWING.

Maestro West and Josie from NUYCO and Mr. and Mrs. Erickson from NUYWE are interested in participating in a joint tour to Pocatello, Idaho. It will be from approximately 4:00 PM on Friday, May 12 to 6:00 PM on Saturday, May 13.

We will need quite a few parents or adult guardians to help drive their own children as well as other children and chaperone for the entire tour.

All members under age 12 would need a parent on tour at all times. If that is not a possibility, temporary "adult-ship" can be granted to an adult who will be on tour.

All NUYCO and NUYWE members would need to pay a tour fee, probably $30-40. This will go towards the performance location rental fee and other tour expenses. Food is included. If carpooling, the members joining another family's car should contribute $10 towards gas. Chaperoning adults will pay a small fee to cover food costs.

The conductors will choose music to perform from our three concerts this year. Along with having fun and getting to know each other better, we would perform for a new audience in a new location. We will also, potentially, do a combined NUYCO/NUYWE piece.

On Friday, we will meet in Pocatello at our performance location at 6 pm on May 12. We will rehearse until 7:30, when we will perform for parents and the public. We'll have a late dinner at Mrs. West's (Maestro West's mother) spacious home and play some games. When it's bedtime, we'll split up between at least Mrs. West's home and potentially either Josie's uncle's home or Maestro West's brother's home, both of which are about two miles from Mrs. West's home. Girls and appropriate chaperones will go to one home, boys and appropriate chaperones to the other home. We simply do not have access to a home that could sleep 60-70 people!

Saturday morning, we will reconvene at Mrs. West's home for breakfast and more games and fun. Around lunch time, we'll travel to Josie's brother's ranch on our way home. At the ranch, we will ride horses, play games, ride four wheelers with parental permission, and do other outdoorsy activities. We'll return everyone home by about 6 pm Saturday night.

Any of these details or the itinerary may change! This is just to gather interest from our NUYCO and NUYWE families.
