2025-2026 CDE Learning Cohort: Highly Mobile Students Leadership

WELCOME!  The District Improvement Strategy Office, in partnership with other CDE offices and experts, is proud to offer Highly Mobile Students Grantee Learning Cohort.

WHO SHOULD APPLY: This cohort is designed for Education of Homeless Children and Youth (EHCY) and Educational Stability Grant (ESG) grantees. We welcome both individuals and cross-functional teams who are leading or supporting efforts to improve outcomes for highly mobile students.

We encourage participation from both those who manage grant implementation and those directly supporting students. Teams that include program coordinators, technical leads, and on-the-ground implementers often gain the most from this cohort.

Common roles include: District: Superintendents, Assistant Superintendents, Executive Directors, Program Directors, Coordinators, Grant Managers, BOCES staff, and District Liaisons. School: Principals, Assistant Principals, Deans, School-Based Liaisons, and Student Support Staff. Cross-Department Partners: Transportation, Enrollment, Student Services, and Community Engagement staff
