Any member of the Trade Union Group can apply, and any member of the Green Party can be a member of the Trade Union Group. If you are passionate about helping to build stronger links between the Green Party and the trade union movement, we want to hear from you!

Role involves:
- Leading on the Group’s external communications, including social media and press
- Leading on ensuring the Group’s website is up to date
- Leading on the Group’s campaigns, supported by other committee members
- Leading on ensuring the group stays up to date with labour movement campaigns and live issues
- Supporting other committee members when possible and appropriate

Time commitment: fortnightly committee meetings, plus 1-2 hours per week.

FAQs

"Do I have to be a trade union member?" No - although we would always strongly encourage you to join a trade union.
"Do I have to be an expert in trade union matters?" No - the most important thing is that you're committed to workers' rights and the centrality of unions to social and environmental justice.
"Do I have to have experience as a union rep or official?" No - if you did that would be great, but it's definitely not essential.
