Survey Questions for PhD Research - Online Gaming Communities and Making Friends
Hello everyone! I'm Charlotte and as part of my PhD Research I wanted to hear from people who play games and are in communities, to make sure I have a well rounded picture. With that being said, this is where you come in!

Filling in this survey will give me important data that will support my research and those who would like to participate further can leave their details to be part of the interviews I will be conducting.

You can read the participation information sheet here - https://docs.google.com/document/d/1BqOrJuOGr6CUbndxbczblYifnPmjDR8F6zh_HO8vQqI/edit?usp=sharing  and make sure you say YES to all the questions below and answer accordingly in the first question:

*Have you read and understood the information sheet about this study?
*Have you been given the opportunity to ask questions about this study?
*Have you received enough information about this study?
*Do you understand that your responses will be recorded?
*Do you understand that you are free to withdraw from this study at any time?
*Do you give permission for your responses to be analysed and included in research findings?
*Do you agree to take part in this study?

(Your signature at the bottom will certify that you have voluntarily decided to take part in this research study having read and understood the information in the sheet for participants. It will also certify that you have had adequate opportunity to discuss the study with the researcher and that all questions have been answered to your satisfaction.)

If you answer YES to all of these questions, tick the boxes and please continue to the other questions. If the majority of answers are NO, please do not complete the rest of the survey, thank you!

To note: What is my definition of an Online Gaming Community? It is a space where you talk either via text, voice or other digital means about games. This could be in a larger community about the same game/multiple games, or more personal groups you have with friends where you play games together (Online games, Roleplaying games etc.). Some people will have moved on from their communities which is why you may have belonged to them, but not anymore (You can still fill out the survey!)
