COVID-19 Guidelines
Trainers are fully vaccinated. We will be practicing social distancing at a minimum of 6 ft apart for anyone not from the same household. Masks are to be worn at all times at indoor classes. Please bring your own supplies. Class size is limited to 4 dogs. We ask that you do not bring anyone one else to class (friends, extended family, children under 16), with a max of 2 household handlers per dog. If you are ill, have any symptoms, think you may have been exposed or have tested positive COVID-19, DO NOT attend class and notify us immediately so we can take the necessary measures. In the event classes need to be cancelled due to the pandemic, we will contact you about options for rescheduling or to convert your tuition balance towards other training services. We will not be able to provide refunds under these circumstances.

Class Objective
PRO K-9’s training classes are designed to aid the dog and owner to make the dog more obedient and a more social member of the family. Class curriculum is age dependent, and will give the owner an understanding of techniques designed to teach the dog quickly, and knowledge of how to correct and prevent behavior problems. A direct result of how quickly the dog learns depends on how well the training instructions are followed. Owner understands that no guarantees can be made in regard to their dog’s behavior.

Enrollment Restrictions
To provide a productive learning environment for each of our students and for the safety of students and store patrons/vet clients, we cannot enroll dogs in group classes who have shown any signs of aggression (towards people or dogs), dogs who are unvaccinated, in heat, or who show symptoms of a communicable disease. Additionally, dogs who may exhibit social anxieties or over-stimulation in a social environment may have a difficult time learning in a distracting class setting. Elderly dogs or dogs with medical conditions that limit their physical activity also may not benefit from a class setting. (Dogs in these situations would better benefit from an in-home training program.) Each dog will also require a capable adult owner or handler during class (age 18 and up). If you are uncertain of your dog’s ability to attend or succeed in class, please contact us prior to registering. PRO K-9 reserves the right to deny attendance and retain your non-refundable deposit if any of the provided information on your registration form is found to be false or misleading, or for any other reason we believe anyone’s safety during class may be compromised, now or in the future.

Class Schedule
Classes must have a minimum of three dogs registered (6-dog class), or two dogs registered (4-dog class) 24 hours prior to the start date to remain scheduled as-is. In the event of an under-booking or over-booking, we will contact you prior to attending your first session to offer solutions, including but not limited to: a waitlist for the requested class; reserving your spot in a future class; or reserving your spot at another location. If we are unable to find a solution that works for you, we will refund your deposit or tuition within five business days of your requested start date.

Attendance
Each 6-week class begins with an Orientation/Behavior Seminar for new clients (currently held via Zoom). This 1.5–2 hour session is designed to provide owners crucial foundational knowledge and an understanding of upcoming curriculum. All tuition balances and proof of current vaccinations are due at Orientation or your first week of class (veterinarian records of Rabies, Distemper/Parvovirus, Bordetella, and negative fecal for puppies up to 6 months old). Please notify us immediately if your dog begins to show any signs of illness after these records are provided. Owners and dogs must attend a minimum of 5 classes to obtain a Certificate of Completion and be considered class graduate. In the event you are unable to attend a class, you may make arrangements with your trainer to makeup the class at another location or during another round. In the event the training class is not completed due to unforeseen circumstances, tuition paid may be credited (in full or partially) towards continuation in another class, at PRO K-9’s discretion. Owner understands that trainers will make every effort to keep scheduled class times. In case of weather, health or family emergencies, your trainer may arrange for a substitute trainer, schedule a makeup class at another location, or invite you to attend a future class to makeup any missed curriculum.

Payment
A $50 non-refundable deposit is required to complete class registration, and tuition balance is due at your Orientation or the first week of class (cash, check, Visa/Mastercard). There is a $25.00 service fee for each check returned by the bank for non-payment. The owner understands that the trainers will reveal unique training techniques and provide written material at the first class. No refunds will be made because of this.

Waitlist Registration
Do not make a deposit at time of registration. In the event a spot becomes available in your selected class, we will offer the spot to waitlist clients in the order received. Required payment will be due within 24 hours of notification to reserve your spot before it is offered to the next client in line.
- Before classes begin -- $50 deposit required to reserve your spot. Class balance is due first week of class.
- After first week of class due to a no-show -- We will discount your tuition by $40 due to the missed class. Full tuition is required to reserve your spot.

Waiver of Liability
The owner agrees to assume all risk, and accept all responsibility for the actions of his/her dog(s), children, and/or handler in attendance. Owner and class participants agree to hold harmless PRO K-9, Premier Pet Supply, and Healthy Paws Veterinary Medical Center, their employees and agents.

Privacy
We respect your privacy and will never share your information with other parties. Your provided contact information is used only to contact you about our services. By submitting this form, you are granting PRO K-9 permission to contact you by mail, phone or email. Our newsletter is serviced by Constant Contact, and you may unsubscribe via the link found at the bottom of every newsletter email.

Photo Release
I understand that PRO K-9 occasionally takes photographs or video of training sessions to use for educational and promotional purposes. I hereby give PRO K-9 consent to record and photograph my image and/or voice to be used in their print materials, on their website, and social media pages. I further understand that my image will never be sold, that no special compensation will be provided to me for use of my image, and that I may not be informed in advance of the specific use of my image.

Agreement
By submitting the above registration form, the owner agrees that: 1) they have read and fully understand the terms and conditions of this training program; 2) that the information they provide is not false or misleading; 3) that this agreement supersedes any and all agreements written or verbal.
