Anonymous Media in LGBTQ* Development
A little explanation: During a live performance of "Dirty Little Secret" in 2023, the All American Rejects projected the original video's Post Secret images along with recent secrets sent via text & social media behind them on the stage. During this performance, I was suddenly reminded of the important role that ephemeral, anonymous online media played in the development of LGBTQ* youth of my generation (Millennial).
