End date: Monday 31 January 2022
Pack-out date: Tuesday 1st of February 2022 (morning)
Times: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM each day
Each artist is expected to attend for no less than 10 days
One sculpture work is to be completed onsite during the symposium

You must agree to be on site from start to finish.
Your work will be on display during the Symposium.
You should bring along two or smaller (can be picked up and carried), completed pieces.
These will be displayed and onsale in the Arts Whakatane marquee.

WEAR BOOTS AND PPE GEAR WHEN USING CHAINSAWS OR HEAVY TOOLS THIS IS NOT A REQUEST

Only Lunches provided.
2.
Must bring own tent or cover in case of rain.

Power is provided.
4.
Toilets are close.
5.
Must find own accommodation.
6.
Must bring own tools.
7.
Provide your own breakfast and dinners.
8.
There is no set theme.
9.
Omaru stone is available at cost.
10.
Hard stoners, must provide their own stone.
11.
No wood is available there are beaches close or bring your own.
12.
Please do refrain from asking other artist for beer and smokes.
13.
No drugs or Alcohol while using machinery.
14.
Have fun and talk with the locals whenever possible.
15.
Clean up after work each day for your health and safety

If you have a bus you can park near symposium site.....spaces are limited
Showers are at the Whakatane swimming Pool.
Security ill be onsite 90% of the time.
