Dear parent,
As you may be aware, we moved to a virtual parent evening model during the pandemic and then made the decision to move to a 'hybrid' model this year. This meant that students in certain year groups had in person meetings and parents in other year groups met with teachers virtually.
There are advantages and disadvantages for each model but, put simply, in person meetings have a more personal/community building advantage against the efficiency and convenience of the virtual model. We realise that some parents, staff and students will prefer each model for different reasons and that there is unlikely to be a universal view. However, this consultation will guide our future thinking.
